Our History:
We grew up with many pets, learning from a young age, first-hand-experience, many of the challenges, sorrows and joys of pet ownership. As the owner, I personally remember the work invested and resulting joy of owning dogs and cats of course, but also rabbits and a rat, (I was very endearing towards my white and brown rat named Duchess). I also built a full walk in bird aviary right outside my bedroom window, and in another window I had a large wild bird feeder with tinted glass! I still remember how much fun I had seeing the wild birds just a few inches away while they rested and ate the seeds in the feeder. My mom never wanted reptiles in the house, so I never got to own any snakes or lizards, but at one time I did have a small box turtle named Popeye, who was appropriately named for its missing eye.
