This leash is made with Kernmantle climbing rope, which is constructed with its interior core protected by a woven exterior sheath designed to optimize strength, durability, and flexibility. The core fibers provide the tensile strength of the rope, while the sheath protects the core from abrasion during use.
The D-shaped carabiner provides added pull strength, and has one spring-hinged side that is used as a connector, commonly used for climbing to hold a freely running rope.
You have the option to make the leash shorter by removing the carabiner and retying the knot. It can also be converted into a slip-lead leash, used for training or better control on a stronger pup.
Lastly, we added a soft cover on the handle for the perfect street to summit leash. Light green, jazz blue and yellow match the rest of the amazing colors in the collection.
